Deep learning face detection and embedding. Each face is converted to a mathematical fingerprint and matched against the event index using vector similarity search.

Selfies are used only for the face matching query and are not stored after matching. Face embeddings are scoped per event and never shared across events.

Frequently asked

Does the guest need to install an app?
No. Everything works in the mobile browser — Safari, Chrome, any browser. Guests open the link, take a selfie, and see their photos. No download required.
How accurate is the face recognition?
Very accurate for most event photography. It works well in varied lighting, with makeup, and with partial face visibility. If a guest appears in very few photos or was mostly in the background, some matches may be missed — but false positives are rare.
How long does processing take after upload?
Thumbnails are generated within seconds. Face indexing runs in the background and typically completes within a few minutes for an average wedding (500–2,000 photos). Guests can start searching as soon as indexing is done.
Is the selfie stored?
No. The selfie is used only to generate a face embedding (a mathematical representation) for matching. It is not stored after the search session ends.
Can guests download in full resolution?
Yes. Guests can download the exact file the photographer uploaded — full resolution, no compression, no watermarks.
